Reporter: in the private economy of Wenzhou, small and medium-sized enterprises are the most energetic part.

Did they encounter "Wenzhou characteristics"?

Zhou Dewen: it is no exaggeration to say that Wenzhou has produced clothing shoes of 10%-20% nationwide, more than 70% of shavers, locks, glasses, more than 90% lighters, Wenzhou's low-voltage electrical appliances, hardware products, automobile and motorcycle accessories, and ceramic products also play an important role in China.

It can be said that the rise of manufacturing in Wenzhou is a microcosm of China's manufacturing development, and tens of thousands of small and medium-sized enterprises have built up the big signboard of Wenzhou.

But after the Spring Festival this year, there are more and more information about the pfer and rental of factory buildings. Besides the traditional labor-intensive enterprises such as clothing, shoes, electronics and so on, there are also light industry industries.

The impression is: what's wrong with Wenzhou's manufacturing industry?

In fact, a total of more than 30 SMEs in Wenzhou, about 20% of enterprises are in stoppage or semi shutdown.

In my view, Wenzhou is not only experiencing crisis, but also in the Yangtze River Delta and the Pearl River Delta region.

I often take entrepreneurs to visit all parts of the country, including several areas around Shanghai, such as Songjiang, Jinshan and Northern Jiangsu, which are also facing the challenge of industrial restructuring.

Of course, Wenzhou is a region where the private economy dominating the whole world. Its every move seems to have the significance of benchmarking.

Although the case is complicated, the appreciation of the renminbi, the rise in raw material prices, the increase in labor costs, the sluggish consumption of foreign markets and soaring land prices are warning signs for Wenzhou's small and medium-sized enterprises, which are accustomed to making a living at low prices and making a living by "short and fast". That is to say, today's Wenzhou SMEs are looking for new breakout from the cracks of traditional manufacturing.

In my view, the cost and pressure of enterprises are common reasons, and the adjustment of regional economic structure is also a reflection of the survival of the fittest.

I also believe that the partial predicament of Wenzhou is not the "Wenzhou characteristics", but the embarrassment of the concentration areas of labor-intensive enterprises.

Zhou Dewen: in the past, now Wenzhou has begun strategic pformation, and more and more enterprises are "refined, specialized, special and new".

According to statistics, there are 30 SMEs in Wenzhou, accounting for more than 99% of the total number of enterprises, accounting for 97% of the total output value of enterprises, which can provide 90% of the employment opportunities.

In the national economy of Wenzhou, small and medium-sized enterprises are the main force, no matter from breadth to depth, or to the pulling of economic indicators.

In Wenzhou, a village or town is a production and marketing base.

This regional cluster economy has led to the formation of the size of small and medium-sized enterprises in Wenzhou, and then has the advantages of cost, price and competition.

Intensification, workshop and innovation are the main characteristics of the enterprise in its initial stage.

Because Wenzhou has very few available resources, Wenzhou people are "out of nothing".

Like Ruian, there are thousands of automobile and motorcycle production enterprises, but there is no automobile production enterprise; and, like "KOBRON", there is no production workshop, but virtual business products and brand development can sell more than ten billion a year. There are many such enterprises. Experts call this phenomenon "zero resource" phenomenon.

The initial mode of Wenzhou is simple, short, flat and fast small commodities and big markets.

The Wenzhou model was the experimental field, barometer and direction indicator of the development of China's private economy.

Because the boat is small enough to make a U-turn, the funds will be recovered.

But after the new millennium, small and medium-sized enterprises began to reflect on the old mode, showing a new trend of capital operation.

At present, more and more growing enterprises of "refined, specialized, special and new" have become dominant in scale, strategy and characteristics.

In the future, the economy will be an innovative development mode. I think this year's Spring Festival will be shut down by some enterprises. From another perspective, it means that capital operation has begun another wave of pformation. In other words, in Wenzhou, the new economy driven by new industries is quietly sprouting.
