Should Brazil Expand Its Export Of Shoes And Leather Products To China?

Brazil's export and Investment Promotion Bureau recently reported that China is Brazil's most important export market in Asia, and Brazil hopes to further expand its exports to China.

The bureau points out that some Brazil products have larger export opportunities in the Chinese market, including food (flour food and juice), building materials (non-ferrous metals, wood, rubber) and fashion products.

It also pointed out that in order to make Brazil's exports reach 1.25% of the world's total exports in 2010, the government of Brazil has identified 16 export target cities, including China, the United States and Russia.
