According to statistics, by the end of 2012, the comprehensive energy consumption (converted into standard coal) per ton of towel had decreased from 1.88 tons to 1.61 tons, a decrease of 14.76%, the comprehensive energy consumption per unit output value had decreased by 27.61%, the utilization rate of water resources had been improved by 27%, the annual sewage discharge had been reduced by 540000 tons, the COD discharge had been greatly reduced, the sulfur dioxide discharge was basically zero, while the production capacity had increased by 30%, and the annual income of energy conservation and consumption reduction had increased by more than 16 million yuan.


Last November, Longyuan's project Research and Application of Clean and Efficient Pretreatment and Photographic Printing Technology of High grade Cotton Towels passed the provincial scientific and technological appraisal; New products, such as double-sided printing, flash printing, forged velvet cutting printing, are innovatively developed, which have the functions of anti-bacterial, health care, skin friendly and other biographical functions, and are welcomed by the market.


Steady progress of environmental protection governance projects


In the first ten days of June, Sinopec Baling Petrochemical Company invested 7.8 million yuan in the completion of the outward coal dust sewage treatment project, which can make 100000 tons of waste water discharged up to the standard after treatment every year, and save 150000 tons of fresh water, creating an impressive performance of 200000 tons of growth in total product volume and 60% reduction in "three wastes" discharge.


Baling Petrochemical is the largest producer of caprolactam in China. Caprolactam is a basic chemical raw material, widely used in wool spinning, knitting, electronics, automobile and other industries. According to Zhu Jianmin, the general manager of the company, this is one of the 21 environmental protection projects implemented by the company to implement the new green and low-carbon strategy. In the past four years, the company has invested 400 million yuan in environmental protection. The company has more than 10 sets of old equipment and devices that have always been of good benefit, but with high consumption and heavy pollution, they have reluctantly given up and resolutely removed them. The company also increased the use of "three wastes" through technological innovation. The newly built waste alkali treatment plant of the company not only makes the sewage in cyclohexanone production reach the discharge standard, but also can recover 24000 tons of solid alkali and 440000 tons of by-product low-pressure steam every year. The company has completed 21 environmental protection projects in recent years, which can effectively recover 24 kinds of materials such as sodium carbonate and cyclohexane, with an annual comprehensive utilization output value of 168 million yuan. In the past four years, the company's sulfur emissions have decreased by 40%, COD emissions have decreased by 59%, and the external drainage has reached the national sewage discharge level I standard. Last year, 27 of the company's 45 energy consumption indicators fell year-on-year, with an annual energy saving value of 113 million yuan.


Hunan Jiexin Textile Printing and Dyeing Company is a key energy consuming enterprise in Hunan Province. In recent years, under extremely difficult circumstances, the company has invested 18 million yuan in energy conservation and emission reduction. First, adopt advanced circulating fluidization technology to transform old boilers; Second, the high-pressure electrostatic precipitator is used to replace the stone water film precipitator to reduce smoke and dust emissions; The third is to use frequency conversion speed regulation technology to carry out energy-saving transformation for large power motors; Fourth, implement flue gas desulfurization projects to reduce sulfur dioxide emissions; The fifth is to install an online monitoring system for flue gas and sewage to reduce the discharge of pollutants. At present, the dust content of boiler blowdown of the company has decreased by 80%, and the annual direct economic benefit has reached 4 million yuan.


Innovation drives "green development"


The area around Dongting Lake in Hunan Province is the main ramie production area and ramie textile processing base in China, with more than 100 large and small ramie textile processing enterprises. For a long time, these hemp textile processing enterprises have used the traditional chemical degumming method of strong acid, strong reduction, high temperature and high pressure boiling, and the discharged sewage has seriously exceeded the standard, which has brought serious pollution and ecological harm to Dongting Lake. In 2007, Hunan Star Ramie Industry, in cooperation with scientific research institutions, pioneered the biological degumming of ramie and independently innovated and developed the first biological degumming production line in China's ramie industry. Compared with chemical degumming, the new biological degumming technology reduces pollution by more than 60%, reduces COD emissions by 75%, saves energy and water by 50%, greatly improves the working environment and working conditions of workers, and realizes cleaner production. This is an epoch-making revolution in the ramie industry, creating a new era of green, low-carbon and clean production in the ramie industry.


In 2008, Star Ramie Industry cooperated with Dalian University of Technology to promote the technical upgrading of ramie bio degumming industrialization. Through the cooperation between the scientific researchers of Star Ramie Industry and the experts and professors of Dalian University of Technology, the scientific research project of "breeding of bast fiber biological degumming bacteria and new technology of clean production of ramie" was jointly completed. The high-temperature resistant liquid continuous degumming bacteria of ramie was used for the first time, and the technical route from strain production to degumming process was optimized, and the degumming equipment was simple and easy to operate, The technical problems such as high cost of ramie biological degumming, unstable strain degumming and difficult control were solved.


In March 2011, the new technology of ramie bio degumming of Star ramie industry was successfully promoted in Yuanjiang Sixin ramie industry, which opened the prelude to the industrialization of ramie bio degumming.


On June 16, 2012, the ramie degumming biological strain jointly developed by Hunan Star Ramie Industry and Dalian University of Technology took the "Shenjiu" spaceship to fly in the sky and carried out the space biological strain mutation breeding experiment, achieving more advanced scientific research results.


In addition, Hunan Longyuan Textile Co., Ltd. and Hunan Institute of Engineering have carried out industry university research cooperation, constantly developed cleaner production technologies and patent achievements with independent knowledge, actively explored new ways of cleaner production, and applied new technologies and processes to production links. The company has 48 national patents, including 13 patented technologies for energy conservation and emission reduction. Through process transformation, equipment upgrading, waste recycling and recycling, energy conservation, consumption reduction, pollution reduction and efficiency increase have been achieved, energy consumption has been effectively reduced, and the total amount of sewage has been reduced.
