Zhao Yufang, vice governor of Guangdong Province, said that last year, the trade between Guangdong and Poland rose against the trend, with the total import and export volume of more than 2.9 billion US dollars, an increase of 8.7% year-on-year, accounting for about one fifth of the total trade volume between China and Poland. She suggested that the two sides should make greater economic and trade cooperation and promote each other to become a bridgehead to enter the Chinese and EU markets.

Marcin Kubiak, Deputy Minister of infrastructure and development of Poland, said that China and Poland will have more opportunities for cooperation on the "New Silk Road", and the "Chengdu Europe Express Railway" will become a link between China and Poland.
