The textile industry "12th Five-Year" development plan has clearly put forward the development goal of "5~10 famous brands with international influence and 100 well-known brands with high awareness of the domestic market".

In the past two years, the Federation of Chinese textile industry has investigated the brand building situation of the whole industry, and found that quite a few textile enterprises are not strong in brand awareness, and there are some deviations in the understanding of brand building. For example, some enterprises only focus on external publicity, ignore internal construction system, and cultivate them; some upstream processing enterprises unilaterally believe that the creation of brand is a matter of terminal enterprises, ignoring the importance of brand as a concentrated embodiment of quality, management, innovation and culture to the transformation and upgrading of enterprises. Some documents and standards that have been promulgated and implemented in China to guide enterprises to establish brand cultivation management system have also affected the enthusiasm of enterprises to establish brand cultivation system to a certain extent because they are not integrated with the long chain, high degree of marketization, fast updating of products, strong fashion of terminal products, and personalized demand.
