In September, China imported 218 thousand tons of cotton yarn, an increase of 25.2%, a total of 580 million dollars.

1-9 months ago, the ten largest cotton yarn import and export provinces and cities only showed negative growth in Beijing, with a drop of 13.6% and an import volume of 180 thousand tons.

Guangdong imported 500 thousand tons, an increase of 20.6% over the same period last year, and Zhejiang imported 319 thousand tons, an increase of 25.5% over the same period last year.

The remaining ten top provinces and cities have increased to varying degrees.

Shandong and Shanghai increased by 69.8% and 15.9% respectively.

Tianjin and Xinjiang increased by 102.1% and 63.8% respectively.

In the first 3 quarters of 2015, China imported 547 thousand tons of cotton yarn from India, an increase of 40.5% compared to the same period last year, and the import price was 2.7 US dollars / kg, down 11.4%.

Imports of 429 thousand tons and 378 thousand tons of cotton yarn from Pakistan and Vietnam increased by 19.9% and 34.1% respectively, and the import prices were 2.37 US dollars per kilogram and 2.86 US dollars / kg respectively. Vietnam is slightly higher than Pakistan in terms of total import value.

The top three largest importing countries account for 74.2% of the total imports of cotton yarn.

The volume of imports from Indonesia and Uzbekistan was 90 thousand tons, an increase of 38.2% and 75% respectively.

Imports from the United States and South Korea were increased by 9.8% and 9.7% respectively, and Thailand was down by 9.1%.
