Japan's azo dye ban will be formally implemented in April 1st.

At that time, on sale in Japan

Specific azo dyes for decomposable carcinogenic aromatic amines should not be used.

"Japan's implementation of textile azo dye restriction is closely related to printing and dyeing processing and textile exports in Keqiao."

Shaoxing textile inspection and Quarantine Bureau's on-site staff reminded that Keqiao printing and dyeing enterprises and export enterprises should pay close attention to and respond positively.

What is azo dye? Reporter interviewed the relevant personnel of the District Quality Supervision Bureau.

It is reported that azo dyes are the most widely used synthetic dyes in textile and clothing printing and dyeing processes. They are used not only for printing and dyeing textiles, but also for dyeing leather and paper.

It should be noted that not all azo dyes are prohibited in Japan's new deal, but only 24 specific aromatic amines are required to exceed 30mg/kg.

In recent years, Keqiao textile

clothing

Constantly upgrading, and docking with the Japanese market demand frequently.

Reporters learned from the District Commerce Bureau that last year, our region exported more than US $100 million to Japan, an increase of 8.77% over the same period last year.

"Exports to Japan are mainly concentrated in textiles.

"

The industry believes that in the current global market overall weakness, it is hard to develop the Japanese market, and should actively adapt to the relevant provisions of Japanese products.

Then, what is the content of azo dyes in Keqiao's textile fabrics? It is understood that since 2013, Shanghai's "poison school uniform" incident, our district has added a dyestuff dyestuff that can decompose aromatic amines to the textile fabrics in the textile city.

But the test results show that there are still individual fabrics "not up to standard".

Therefore, the new deal implemented by Japan is bound to have an impact on Keqiao's printing and dyeing enterprises.

Japan's restrictions on the content of azo dyes in textiles have further raised the threshold of China's textile exports to Japan.

However, there are also some printing and dyeing enterprises in Keqiao, which seem very calm to Japan's new deal.

"We are the enterprises that get the" white list "qualification.

Wynn printing and dyeing Co., Ltd. is a dyeing and processing enterprise exporting Japanese fabrics in our district.

Wu Yanfang, general manager, told reporters that as early as 2012, the company became one of the "white list" enterprises in China.

It is understood that the "white list" is the Japanese textile industry alliance developed by the textile does not use specific azo dyes self-discipline standards.

Enterprises that have obtained the "white list" qualification do not need to detect specific azo dyes when their products are exported to Japan.

"Getting the green pass is closely related to the company's emphasis on green printing and dyeing."

Wu Yanfang told reporters that with this "pass", the company can not only save a lot of testing costs, but also greatly reduce the cost of product exports.

To this end, Shaoxing inspection and quarantine department suggested that the relevant export enterprises should strictly control product processing, avoiding the economic losses caused by the azo exceeding the standard and so on.

At the same time, it is suggested that the relevant production enterprises should join the "white list" management system as far as possible, get the exemption qualification and reduce the paction cost of enterprises.
